February Super Consumers Win “Illuminating” Prize

The February winners in the Think Monroe County First! "Super Consumer" drawing are Jim and Marilyn Williams. Their winning ticket was drawn at JLP Homes in Waterloo. The prize is $125 worth of lamps of their choice at Harres Furniture in Columbia. The next winner has been drawn and will be announced on February 27th.Watch your local newspapers--the Monroe County Clarion, Monroe County Independent and The Republic-Times--for coverage on winners as well as the next "Conscious Consumer" feature.There will be two winners drawn again in March. Consumers will be entering for a chance to win a V-Tech 6.0 Four Handset Cordless Phone with Digital Answering System valued at $129.95 donated by Harrisonville Telephone Company and a “Taste of Monroe County” gift basket valued at $130 and donated by Reliable Sanitation in Waterloo. Items in the basket include: gift certificates from Mokka Kaffeehaus (Columbia), Joe Boccardi’s (Columbia), JV’s (Waterloo), Courthouse Café (Waterloo), and a bottle of wine from Schorr Lake Vineyards (Waterloo).
