Press of Business

For the past sixty years, Conrad Press has maintained high standards for its local customers both in terms of product quality and delivery of services. Owners John & Marie Conrad offer complete printing and graphic services, plus the latest in computer forms, checks and other office products frequently used in the modern environment.

But what's possibly the most surprising aspect of this Main Street mainstay is its long-standing commitment to the Internet. John Conrad planted his first stake in virtual reality in 1996 with the launch of the Monroe County Galleria, billed as "the first indoor shopping mall in the county"--in reality, maybe one of the first in the country. "We were probably ahead of our time," Conrad now recalls. His clear understanding of the value of the Internet is reflected in the seal (above, right) Conrad developed for his web pages.

Today, Conrad continues his online leadership by means of the Monroe County Independent, a weekly online news source that previews a print edition.
