These Oaks Have Deep Roots

To say that Tom Clark and Clark's Country Oaks have deep roots in Monroe County is surely an understatement. In 2000, Tom and his wife, Becky, took over an existing business which had been in business for 14 years, making them the third generation of family-owned businesses in Waterloo. Tom's parents owned a Zenith TV store for 32 years, his grandfather owned an American Motors car dealership for about 27 years, and his dad's sister and her husband own a family bakery--all four of these businesses were, and are, located along one block of Church St. in Waterloo.

An authorized Simply Amish dealer, Clark's Country Oaks' offers a line of handcrafted furniture, bedroom sets, dining room and upholstered furniture, and home accessories that exhibit traditional craftsmanship. At the same time, the store has entered the modern age--they offer online catalogs in addition to the bricks-and-mortar shopping experience.
